Save For Retirement

You are eligible to participate in a 403(b) Retirement Savings Program - similar to a 401(k) plan provided to employees of corporations. Payroll deductions are made on a pre-tax basis.
Some of the primary purposes of the 403(b) program are: to allow you to save for retirement now, to provide yourself with retirement savings in the future, and to potentially supplement the buying power of your pension during your retirement years.

Contributions to your 403(b) plan and any earnings in the program are excluded from current income taxes. Distributions from a 403(b) program are taxed as ordinary income when received.
